Emergency Market Closure for Jan 23 & 24

We’re up to our ankles in boiling mud out here. Ok, it’s not boiling, but it is getting thick. The rains and the saturated ground is not allowing us to harvest for this weekends market – without harvested veggies, there is nothing to sell. The forecast is calling for more rain through Friday with high winds starting to kick in just as I’m writing this. Out here in Tonopah many of the washes are already running with so much water that where they cross roads folks are not able to drive through.
I am sorry about the change in market plans but hope for your understanding that nature is in charge of how I operate more often than not. I do hope you all enjoy our rainy weather, I know here in Arizona we can surely use all the extra water the heavens decide to drop upon us, it’s also wonderful for my farm – well, not the weeds. I will be open the following weekend with what will likely be a super abundance of all-natural farm fresh goodness as everything that should be being picked today and tomorrow will continue to grow another week. Looking forward to seeing you all next week and keeping my fingers crossed the predicted winds don’t inflict too much damage out here.
