Saturday Veggie List and NEW Sunday Location on Estrella Parkway

Salad made with veggies from Tonopah Rob's Vegetable Farm in Tonopah, Arizona

It’s salad time in the garden. Cold weather is perfect for root crops and lettuces and this weekend you will find all you need to make the best salad you are likely to be eating this winter in all Arizona. Today’s photo is a salad from one of my customers using greens, radishes, turnips, cucumber, and onions from my farm. Come by the farm stand out here in Tonopah this Saturday between 8:00 and 1:00 and buy your salad fixings to make a perfectly healthy meal for you and your family.

BIG BIG NEWS!!!!! On recent Sundays from 8:00 to 1:00, Jerry and I have set up a stand with a few of those old blue tents in the Ace Hardware parking lot on Estrella Parkway in Goodyear (almost 30 miles closer to Phoenix than my farm) and our little experiment has been successful enough that I am announcing that on the weekends my farm stand is open in Tonopah on Saturday, I will setup the following day in the Ace Hardware parking lot. Exit the I-10 offramp at Estrella Parkway heading south – Ace will be on your right at 610 Estrella Parkway. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Certain items from my veggie list may sell out at my farm stand in Tonopah on Saturdays, if there is something you simply must have, you need to show up early Saturday to have a better chance at getting that special item.
