Closed for Turkey Day. Next market will be Dec. 3, 2011.

The above picture is four of the 13 turkey’s on my farm.  Look how they shine when the sun hits their feathers just right.  From the back to the front here are their names. Romeo, Two feather, See No and always front and center is Hear No.  See and Hear No are now three years old.  I know what they are thankful for……I’m pretty sure you have a good idea as well.

It’s Thanksgiving and here are a few of the things that I’m so very thankful for in my life.

I’m thankful for my family, I love them tremendously.

I’m thankful for my friends, I love them too.

I’m thankful for a healthy body that enables me to grow delicious all natural food.

I’m thankful for the freedom to grow food the way I want to because it’s the only way to grow.

I’m thankful for nearly everything, except Monsanto.

I’m thankful for my farm and all of the good food that comes from it.

I’m thankful for all of you that support my farm.  I can’t do it alone.

I’m thankful I get a weekend off to enjoy being thankful.

Happy Holidays!

Rob – thanks for posting those wonderful turkey photos, and for taking such good care of them. We love your veggies and are glad you are back at the Stock Shop!

Rob, Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m thankful we found a farmer/market that has the same food philosophies as we do. Also for your willingness to help us learn how to garden chemically free. Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions at the markets we know you are busy.

So thankful for you and all that you offer us, Rob! I loved this week’s post–there are so many little bits to consider in what you do–it is truly a microcosm of life at large. And I am really glad you’ve connected with Derek–that sounds like a good thing for both of you.
Wishing you and yours the very best!

Happy belated Thanksgiving, Rob and Jerry! We hope you enjoyed your day off!

We are so grateful to you for doing all you do and sharing your yummy veggies with us. We’re happy to keep telling people about your markets and the way you grow (our) veggies! Thanks for always sharing info with us also and for caring so much for all your customers!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend and we’ll be looking forward to seeing you next week!

Hi Rob,

I am thankful for alot of things and near the top of the list is knowing a wonderful person like you, who loves to be a natural farmer. I love going to visit your farm, but am very grateful that you are back in Goodyear as well. Can’t wait for next weekend to stock up on the goodies.
